SUPERVISORY INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
What you'd do
You will serve as a Supervisory Inventory Management Specialist of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK.
Major duties
You will plan, develop, implement and execute program objectives You will review procedures in all areas affecting inventory accuracy , including receipt processing, requisition processing, and physical inventory functions You will review/analyze automated supply support systems and ensure ERP systems are correcting accounting inventory You will have supervisory duties You will analyze and resolve situations concerning a wide variety of issues relating to Navy's ERP material accountability inventory and inventory programs
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Examples of specialized experience may include the following: validating physical inventory discrepancies of materials; coordinating material inventory for audit purposes; identifying and correcting inventory; and reviewing procedures for inventory accuracy.
