The primary purpose of this position is to provide vehicle management and analysis; vehicle maintenance contract services and warranty information; and planning long and short range maintenance requirements for a fleet of vehicles.
Major duties
Performs vehicle work order transactions in the Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS), or an equivalent system, in line with fleet management functions. Inputs data into ELMS, verifying its accuracy. Performs vehicle management data reporting and transfer as required. Utilizes the logistics Installation and Mission Support Enterprise View (LIMS-EV) and Basing & Logistics Analytics Data Environment (BLADE) systems to manage the fleet. A Performs various related duties, including overseeing compliance with inspection checklists in the Management Internal Control Toolset (MICT). Manages the installation motor vehicle operator qualification, examination and licensing program using the On-Line Vehicle Interactive Management System (OLVIMS) licensing Module.

Click Here SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-01 equivalent to the next lower grade GS-04 or equivalent in other pay systems. Specialized experience is to provide vehicle management and analysis; vehicle maintenance contract services and warranty information; and planning long and short range maintenance requirements for a fleet of vehicles. NOTE: Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1. Knowledge of vehicle management and analysis, diagnostic methods and procedures, maintenance data collection, and reporting, including operations in ELMS. 2. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance contract services and warranty information. 3. Knowledge of the ELMS data retention program sufficient to retrieve, verify, and analyze data relevant to the vehicle maintenance program. Ability to requisition, receive, file and maintain Air Force Technical Orders. 4. Ability to plan and program both short - and long-range maintenance requirements for a fleet of special purpose vehicles and equipment. 5. Knowledge of the Ground Transportation Licensing program, including methods, procedures, data collection and reporting as well as operations in the OLVIMS Licensing Module. 6. Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally. Ideal Candidate: Team player with self starter abilities. Air Force Vehicle Logistics/Transportation experience PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
