SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
What you'd do
You will function as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist supporting the Air Systems Group (AB), Logistics Department (AB3), and Maintenance Division Logistics Integration (AB31500) of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Major duties
You will apply comprehensive working knowledge of integrated logistics support (ILS) management principles and requirements in support of major aircraft systems. You will conduct group and one-on-one meetings to communicate objectives, provide guidance, and resolve issues. You will manage integrated product support (IPS) elements for aircraft, engines, and support systems. You will utilize principles, practices, and concepts of logistics management to achieve aircraft program requirements. You will manage personnel, equipment, and resources to meet assigned workloads and project deadlines. You will foster open communication among all levels of personnel to accomplish organizational objectives. You will function as a logistics technical advisor to internal and external contacts on assigned programs/project. You will supervise and perform official supervisory responsibilities for assigned subordinates. You will perform other duties as assigned.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band (NM-3) or grade level (GS-9-12) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Applying comprehensive working knowledge of integrated logistics support (ILS) management principles and requirements in support of major aircraft systems; 2) Conducting group and one-on-one meetings to communicate objectives, provide guidance, and resolve issues; 3) Managing integrated product support (IPS) elements for aircraft, engines, and support systems; 4) Utilizing the principles, practices, and concepts of logistics management to accomplish aircraft program requirements; 5) Managing personnel, equipment, and resources to meet assigned workloads and project deadlines; 6) Fostering open communication among all levels of personnel to achieve organizational goals; and 7) Supervising and performing official supervisory responsibilities for assigned subordinates.
