Major duties

Responsible for daily operations of functional systems analysis and design. Conducts policy analysis and procedure development, development of system process improvements and functional analysis of business operations to include operational metrics. Provides end user support to the Product Specialists, Packaging Specialists and Test Coordinators. Addresses supply chain issues and strategic decisions support tools to ensure that the EBS system is operating properly in support of procurement and supply management functions. Supports all technical functional areas.

What you need to qualify

A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes Participating in implementing DLA/MSC policies and procedures regarding material management information/data systems. Reviewing and providing recommendations to upper management on matters impacting current or proposed material management information systems. Defining system enhancements that improve end user's productivity capabilities; as well as planning and directing the work of the BPAs as it relates to local and Enterprise systems and functional support for the Tech/Quality functions. Working knowledge of the Material Master, the Document Management System (DMS), the Quality Module, and the Business Warehouse and how they relate to various functions and activities. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
