FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST
What you'd do
You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALSYST in the COMPTROLLER GROUP, BUSINESS & FINANCIAL OPERATIONS DEPT of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Major duties
You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases of budget administration, with a primary focus on financial execution, funds control, financial analysis, and resource management in support of mission requirements. You will use financial systems, reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to research transactions of financial information and develop corrective actions, alternative approaches, and technically supportable recommendations. You will execute end-to-end financial processes, including project structure maintenance, funding planning, funding document preparation/amendments transaction validation, execution monitoring, reconciliation, closeout, and recurring reporting. You will analyze, interpret, reconcile, and evaluate financial information to assess execution status, identify trends, discrepancies, shortfalls, excesses, and emerging risk, and determine the financial and programmatic effects of unresolved issues.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DA-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Demonstrating direct financial work experience in Enterprise Resource Planning to enter, retrieve, review, validate, or reconcile financial information; 2.) Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end financial processing, including project structure development, funding planning, preparation and amendment of funding documents, G-Invoicing transactions, execution monitoring, reconciliation, reporting, closeout, and final validation. 3.) Advanced application and interpretation of federal financial management requirements, appropriations law, internal controls, and the principles of purpose, time, and amount. 4.) Independently prepare, validate, and present complex financial analyses, reconciliations, forecasts, alternative courses of action, and internal and external data calls, including Budget Execution Reviews, Unfilled Customer Orders, CJ45, continuing resolution scenarios, under-execution reviews, and burn-rate analyses.
