What you'd do

You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the COMMAND SUITE of NAVMEDREADLOGCMD.

Major duties

You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations. You will perform a variety of fiscal, accounting, or financial management duties and responsibilities. You will develop, determine, and interpret budgetary policies and practices. You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets. You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities. You will apply knowledge of budgetary policies, precedents, procedures, and regulations.

What you need to qualify

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience utilizing integrated federal financial management systems to include NERP and sub-systems to extract data, identify and resolve system problems, and maintain data integrity. Experience analyzing, evaluating, and reviewing budget and program issues and financial data and report using business tools and applications. Experience preparing, reviewing, and reconciling financial statements and financial reports to meet reporting requirements and to support management decisions.
