SUPERVISORY NUCLEAR ENGINEER
What you'd do
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY NUCLEAR ENGINEER in the Nuclear Facilities and Waste Engineering Division, Code 2380 of PSNS and IMF.
Major duties
You will determine areas of potential improvement and development You will train and mentor junior engineers and direct their development in becoming fully qualified. You will encourage development by assigning challenging and progressively more responsible work assignments to employees. You will ensure mechanisms such as training. mentoring, procedures, accountability, and self-assessments are in place to ensure products of the branch are accurate, complete, and appropriately engineered.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional Nuclear Engineer with the ability to learn to lead branch operations and learn to manage personnel.
