INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPEC
What you'd do
You will serve as a INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPEC in the NUCLEAR ENGINEER & PLANNING DEPARTMENT of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
Major duties
You will gather data from various reports to effect installation of field changes. You will be responsible for the complete inventory management of all nuclear reactor plant components and material maintained within a certain classes of industrial materials. You will initiates action to ensure that material is inspected, tested, refurbished, and certified as acceptable for use prior to induction into the Navy Supply System You will initiates action for redistribution or disposal of excess, obsolete or deteriorated material You will renders stock status and special reports as necessary
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing inventory management operations, including utilizing electronic inventory management systems, to ensure effective nuclear reactor plant material inventories in support of the construction, overhaul and repair of ships or submarines.
