DISTINGUISHED SCIENTIST/ENGINEER FOR NAVY THREAT ENGINEERING (SSTM)
What you'd do
You will serve as a Distinguished Engineer/Scientist for Navy Threat Engineering for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD).
Major duties
You will be responsible for identifying critical threat and target initiatives to support Fleet and technology and research and development needs in this domain. You will lead the development of the Naval competency and technical authority for Threat Engineering. You will provide the authoritative and foundational threat models and descriptions to anchor much of NSWC Dahlgren Division's Science and Technology and Research and Development portfolio. You will oversee the execution of Threat Engineering work that supports the Science and Technology, Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation, and Acquisition efforts. You will lead the development of threat modeling solutions to allow Naval forces to develop/test with fully informed threat representation/information.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS (TQs): Your resume should demonstrate accomplishments that would satisfy the technical qualifications: TQ 1- Demonstrated expert knowledge and hands-on experience in threat engineering and complex modeling and simulation efforts, with a proven ability to develop robust threat models, navigate substantial uncertainty, and ensure all model outputs are strictly fit for purpose. TQ 2- Demonstrated success in building high-performing teams, developing personnel, and forging strategic coalitions across agency and sub-agency levels to integrate threat modeling and engineering throughout intelligence, acquisition, and engineering pipelines.
