Major duties

You will provide administrative management and executive support to the Chief of Staff of the Commanding Officer and Technical Director of Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Keyport. You will evaluate, execute, and disseminate NSWC/NUWC HQ policies and developing Command administrative policies. You will coordinate and process travel, conference attendance, timekeeping, facilities upgrades, security access, and IT issues. You will manage Command Department supplies, procurement, and inventory. You will manage the coordination of activities, meetings, schedules, travel, and deadlines while addressing concerns, obtaining information, and responding to inquiries.

What you need to qualify

For the NG-05: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level NG-04 (GS-9/10 equivalency) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector coordinating clerical administrative duties in support of leadership or executive assistance. For the NG-04: one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level NG-03 (GS-7/8 equivalency) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing clerical administrative duties in support of leadership or executive assistance. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
