Management and Program Analyst

Are you an analytical professional with experience evaluating programs, processes, or organizational operations? Are you interested in using data, analysis, and process improvement to help organizations operate more effectively? If so, we are looking for Management and Program Analysts to support management initiatives by evaluating programs, analyzing operational data, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Major duties
If selected for this position, your duties may include, but are not limited to the following: Conduct studies and analyses of program and administrative operations to identify opportunities for improvement. Gather, analyze, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to support management decisions. Develop reports, procedures, performance measures, and recommendations to improve organizational effectiveness. Provide analytical support and advice to management on program and operational issues. Coordinate with stakeholders to collect information, present findings, and support implementation of improvements.
What you need to qualify
In order to qualify for a Management and Program Analyst, GS-0343 position at the GS-09 level, you must have: A. completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree, or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or an LL.B. or J.D., if related. OR B. 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: 1. Gathering and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data related to administrative programs or organizational operations; 2. Assisting with studies of workflow, staffing, organizational structures, or administrative processes; 3. Applying analytical techniques to identify operational issues and recommend improvements; 4. Preparing reports, briefings, and recommendations to support management decision-making; AND 5. Communicating study results and supporting coordination with management and program staff. OR C. a combination of post baccalaureate education and experience that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position. In order to qualify for a Management and Program Analyst, GS-0343 position at the GS-11 level, you must have: A. completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or an LL.M., if related. OR B. 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: 1. Conducting studies of management programs, administrative operations, or organizational processes; 2. Evaluating program or operational effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative data; 3. Developing reports, procedures, and recommendations to improve organizational effectiveness and operational efficiency; 4. Presenting findings, conclusions, and recommendations to management officials; AND 5. Coordinating with stakeholders to obtain information, resolve operational issues, and support implementation of recommendations. OR C. a combination of post baccalaureate education and experience that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position. In order to qualify for a Management and Program Analyst, GS-0343 position at the GS-12 level, you must have: 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: 1. Applying advanced analytical methods to evaluate program effectiveness, organizational performance, or management operations; 2. Conducting complex studies involving policy implementation, workforce utilization, resource management, or administrative processes; 3. Developing performance measures, procedures, and recommendations to improve organizational effectiveness and operational efficiency; 4. Advising management on the interpretation and application of laws, regulations, policies, and procedures; AND 5. Collaborating with stakeholders to support and implement organizational improvements. You will receive credit for all experience material to the position, including experience gained in religious, civic, welfare, service, and organizational activities, regardless of whether you received pay.
