TEST MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
What you'd do
You will serve as a TEST MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the RANGES/TRGTS OPS/INSTRMTN & LABS GROUP of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Major duties
You will provide overall direction, management, and coordination of test events performed on the China Lake Ranges. You will support customers by estimating the cost of test events, managing the funding once received, scheduling the tests, collecting data post-test for subsequent delivery, and executing the final billing of services rendered. You will manage test projects including capturing customer test and costing requirements and implementing customer requirements into an event plan. You will guide range instrumentation and support personnel during live operations within the complex. You will utilize the Weapon Impact Scoring System providing real-time/post-event feedback results such as weapon scoring and kills.
What you need to qualify
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-9/10) or pay band (DS-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1) Utilizing range policies and procedures to assist with planning, scheduling, executing, and billing for test events; 2) Utilizing Test Management Resource Tool or similar software to request, schedule, conduct, and bill events; 3) Demonstrated experience assisting with resource management for test events; 4) Communicating capabilities, policies, and procedures to customers.
