Senior Program Analyst (Systems Analysis)
What you'd do
This position is in the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Enterprise Applications, Mission Systems Branch. The Branch is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, managing and supporting data processing, telecommunications, and information resources management systems for HQ and Field offices of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). This position is responsible for application development, operations and maintenance, information architecture and more.
Major duties
As an Senior Program Analyst (Systems Analysis), GS-0343-13, your typical work assignments may include: Providing consultation services to the modernization development team and the customer community, advising on legacy system failures, technical debt, and prioritization of modernization efforts. Gathering requirements and analyzing data, developing recommendations for resolving system inefficiencies, and preparing detailed statistical reports to track progress and identify areas for further enhancement. Collaborating with officials from other organizational components within the agency to identify system deficiencies and recommend process improvements for legacy or modernized case management systems. Developing guidelines, requirements, and training documentation to ensure that end-user operational guides are kept up to date. Participating in the development and deployment of new systems or system updates, including performing system testing to ensure that all requirements are met, and programming deficiencies are eliminated. Performing other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Applicants must have one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level, which has provided them with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of a Senior Program Analyst (Systems Analysis) (Senior Case Management Specialist) at the GS-13 grade level. Specialized experience includes: Experience analyzing data and systems to ensure efficient operation and functionality; Experience developing programs and strategies to support software transitions; and Experience recommending solutions of case management system efforts to streamline workflows and improve collaboration. This experience must be fully supported and articulated in your resume to receive consideration. Time-in-Grade Requirement Employees must meet time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year of experience at the GS-12 grade level or equivalent grade level of federal service is required to qualify for the GS-13 grade level. As a current Career or Career Conditional employee in the Competitive Service, you may determine your current status by checking block 24 on your SF-50. The block must reflect "1" or "2". Also, block 34 must reflect "1". A copy of your SF-50 must be provided for verification. NOTE: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
